Natalie Allen
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
Many women leave the hospital without adequate support for their feeding goals and breastfeeding knowledge. Often these concerns can be addressed through education, support, and proper management of breastfeeding goals and experiences. As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I bridge the gap between the hospital and the home, helping families achieve their breastfeeding goals. With years of experience as a registered paediatric and neonatal nurse, and over a decade of volunteering and working with the Australian Breastfeeding Association, I bring a wealth of personal and professional experience to support mothers.

Lactation Support Circle was created to provide assistance to women in their own homes, offering a safe, stress-free environment to help both mother and baby on their breastfeeding journey. As a mother of three breastfed children, all nursed from birth to three years old, I understand the importance of empathy, understanding, and practical clinical experience in assisting families with their breastfeeding journey and achieving their goals.
While breastfeeding is natural, it is also a learned skill that may take time to master for both mother and baby. Through a combination of practice and skilled support, many mothers find they can establish a positive and supportive breastfeeding relationship. Every baby and breastfeeding experience is unique, and mothers may require tailored support for each individual and subsequent baby.
At Lactation Support Circle, I am here to support you with any issues you may be experiencing and work with you to create a breastfeeding plan tailored to your needs. Whether through a home visit after your baby arrives or a prenatal consultation to prepare, I am here to assist you every step of the way. Take a look at the services I offer and feel free to reach out with any inquiries you may have. |
